This is a story about how misspelling one letter led to a big misunderstanding.
The story started when Mr and Mrs Jonas were celebrating their wedding anniversary with a break on the French Riviera. Mr Jonas had to fly out for some business, so he gave his wife a good-bye kiss and went to the airport. He went to a hotel and rented a room. He opened the window, and because the sun was amazingly hot and so bright he went back inside. The hotel’s guests could send emails to the ones they love for free. So Mr Jonas sent an email to his wife, but he sent it to a wrong email address the first time by misspelling one letter, then he sent it to the right person the second time. In the meanwhile, Mrs Jones was burying her husband of 35 years. She went back home with her son, she sat down to check her emails and the son went to make coffee. All the emails were about condolences except one. She opened that email and “everything is ready for your arrival darling” was its conclusion. She thought her husband was wishing her death; she had a heart attack and died.
Misspelling one letter while sending emails might lead to a misunderstanding. And one small misunderstanding might lead to big problems. So check your emails carefully before you send them.
