Fast food vs. Home-cooked food

Fast foods are very popular with people who don't have enough time to cook. People have stopped cooking at home because getting fast food is easy and fast. Even though, the fast food and home-cooked food are both food, there are many differences between them and the are some similarities as well, which I'll compare.

There are some similarities between the fast food and home-cooked food. The first similarity is that they both are food, they are cooked to be eaten. Another similarity is that they both  are cooked with the same ingredients, they both have spices, vegetables and meat. Yet another similarity is that they both look tasty and smell good.

Even though there are some similarities between the fast food and home-cooked food, there are also some differences between them. The first difference is that home-cooked food is healthy because you know what is in it whereas, the fast food is not always healthy because maybe it was cooked badly using expired food. Another difference is that home-cooked food is more delicious than the fast food . Yet another difference is that you can get the fast food easily and fast whereas, home-cooked food you need to cook it yourself and that will take a longer time than the fast food.

The difference out weigh the similarities. Home-cooked food is healthy and fast food is not. In my opinion the people should stop eating fast food even if they are busy, and they should cook their own food and stay far from fast food as much as they can, because it is not healthy, it has too much fat and maybe it was cooked badly.

iPhone 3G vs BlackBerry Bold

Smart phones are popular nowadays. They make communication easy and fun. I am going to write about the similarities and the differences between two of them: the iPhone 3G and the BlackBerry Bold.

There are some similarities between the iPhone and the BlackBerry. The first similarity is that they both have the same height. Another similarity is that they both have web browsers, but, the iPhone's browser is much better and faster than the BlackBerry's browser. Yet another similarity is that they both have 48-bytes screen, which means that they both have a good-resolution screen.

Although there are some similarities between the iPhone and the BlackBerry, there are also some differences. The first difference is that the BlackBerry is wider and thicker than the iPhone. Another difference is that the iPhone has a touch screen whereas, the BlackBerry has none. Yet another difference is that the iPhone's screen is much bigger than the BlackBerry's screen.

Overall, the similarities weigh out the differences. However, in my opinion, the iPhone is much better than the BlackBerry. I prefer the big screen over the small one, and i like the touch screen as well. So if you are going to buy one of them then buy the iPhone.

The UAE now vs. The UAE 40 years ago

The UAE was unknown 40 years ago. But nowadays, it one of the best and the richest countries in the world. I am going to write about the similarities and differences between the UAE now and the UAE 40 years ago.

In contrast, the people 40 years ago were living in tents near each other. They were working together and eating together. They had tight bond with each other. But nowadays, the people live in big houses made of rocks and cement. They make the phone calls as an alternative of visiting each other. They barely meet each their relatives. Another difference between then and now is that the communication these days is a lot easier than what it was 40 years ago. These days, you can talk to anyone in the other side of the world with just one click in the phone. But 40 years ago if you want to talk to someone 300 Km from you, you need to travel for one whole day on a camel to talk to him.

As for the similarities, the people in the UAE still speak the Arabic language. Their religion still the Islamic religion and they still wear the same clothes. Their culture and tradition haven’t change at all.

These are probably all the similarities and the differences between the old and the new UAE. The UAE is still changing, so after 20 years it will be a lot different from what it is right now.
